Poetry is the grand art of writers. I am ceaselessly marveled at how tiny, dark scribbles can hold such powers within them, at how symbols can encompass such emotion and intricacy. This art has kept me alive in deadly times. It has fed my starving soul, revived my creaking limbs. Poets are eternal people. I have often laughed and wept with these spirits that delve the ages. I have felt what they felt, and have traced many footsteps. Time cannot kill them. I have always believed that all of the greatest spirits live as poets in some fashion. You are a poet, as am I. May we journey together.
